Like a lot of love stories these days, ours started with a swipe — a simple moment that ended up changing everything. From the very first messages, something about David just felt real and comfortable. And on August 26, 2021, that online spark turned into meeting face-to-face for the very first time.  Our “redneck first date” wasn’t ideal, but it was definitely memorable. We met up at Walmart to get my fishing license… only to find out Walmart doesn’t even do that anymore. So off we went to the courthouse instead, laughing because the day was already going sideways in the best possible way.

Once the license was handled, we stopped at Waffle House — a Florida classic, the way Whataburger is to Texas. Then we found a little fishing spot where we caught tiny fish, talked about life, and felt that rare, easy comfort you don’t find often.

Afterward, we went back to his place to watch a movie. And honestly? I kind of never left. It felt peaceful. Calm. Safe. Like home. From that day on, everything between us unfolded naturally — no pressure, no rush, just choosing each other every single day.

Over time, we built a life full of our favorite simple joys: paddle boarding on quiet water, cooking together, and ending the day curled up on the couch — our favorite place in the world. Those small, everyday moments became the heart of our story.

On 11.07.26, under the autumn skies of Inverness, Florida, we’ll celebrate how far we’ve come and how far we’re going. Surrounded by the people we love, we’ll begin the next chapter of the story that started with a swipe… and grew into forever

August 26 — our story carried a quiet signature. The 26 on that date felt like a soft promise. And when you add the month and the day 8 + 26 = 34, and 3 + 4 = 7 you uncover the hidden 7, a number often tied to faith, luck, and soul connections.

When we chose our wedding date November 7, 2026, it wasn’t because of the numbers at all.It was simply the only date available. But once I looked closer, there it was again: a 7 shining boldly in the middle… and a 26 waiting quietly at the end. The same numbers from our beginning, now woven into the day I say, “I do.” Some might call it coincidence. I call it destiny. (And yes… David doesn’t care about this stuff at all, lol. But it makes me happy — and he’s happy that I’m happy.)

Because our love began with 26 and 7, and somehow it always circles back to them — reminders that what started as a spark has grown into something steady, strong, and meant to last. And by the time we reach that day, we will have walked side by side for 5 years, 2 months, and 12 days — proof that love isn’t only written in numbers… It’s lived in every moment we’ve chosen each other.

Our wedding day is meant to feel easy, relaxed, and go-with-the-flow — the same way our relationship has always been. No stiff rules, no stress, no pressure. Just a day filled with laughter, sweet moments, and memories that happen naturally.

We’ll keep an eye on the timeline so everything stays moving, but we’re not rushing a thing. If something starts a little early or runs a little late, that’s perfectly fine. We just want everyone to enjoy the day, breathe, and soak it all in.
